Is it a real thing? Can one really become a digital entrepreneur and be successful at it?
Yes. Yes you can/
You’ve seen the hype.
“Work online”, “Laptop Lifestyle”, “Freedom Lifestyle”, “Work from the Beach”, and the list goes on!
And truth be told, I love ALL of it! Why? Because I am one. I, Baukje Strawson, am a digital Entrepreneur.
This industry can seriously work for anyone. Antone can become a digital entrepreneur if you put in the work. Neither Network Marketing or Affiliate Marketing are easy, prepare yourself to work hard! Trust me, I work in both fields and know a thing or two about them.
So, how can you become a digital entrepreneur? Let’s look at both fields of Network Marketing and Affiliate Marketing.
Let’s look at both worlds of Network and Affiliate Marketing.
Network Marketing
Leveraged income! That is the real deal here. Build a Team, work your a$$ off and leverage income is a real thing. It takes about 5 years of hard work and team building, and it is totally worth it.
Network Marketing is commonly referred to as a “Pyramid Scheme”. And it is. But so is EVERYTHING else in the business world! So, do not let those two words fool you. If you are an employee, you are part of a pyramid people! How many colleagues do you have? Who’s above your boss? And who’s above them? Draw it out. You are on the bottom rungs of the corporate pyramid. That being said, do your research. Make sure the company you choose is CREDIBLE and has been in the industry a LONG TIME with a proven track record.
Is Network Marketing an overnight success? It can be if you have the people. This is a numbers game after all. But for the average person, nope. It takes time and consistency. A lot jump from company to company as they don’t experience overnight success. Thinking it is the company’s fault. When it isn’t. It is yours and yours alone. Most companies will provide their own training, and if they don’t, I will recommend you find one that DOES!
Pick a company you resonate with and with products you love. STICK WITH IT. See it through, build your audience and your team. Success WILL come. And there is nothing out there like leveraged income!
It is up to YOU to build a strong team who build there own teams. When your team is big enough, they make the sales for you! That my friends, is a thing of beauty.
Affiliate Marketing
Here, you are always looking for the next sale. No team building here and no leveraged income. But it is an incredible world! So how does it work? This one, I recommend proper training platforms like Wealthy Affiliate. You WILL need the training in SEO and website building.
Affiliate Marketing requires a bit more leg work. You have to build the site and create the content. And you also have to find companies to affiliate with. All the more reasons to line up with a platform like Wealthy Affiliate. Trust me, unless you know everything about SEO and website building, you will be doing yourself a favor by investing in training! Heck, some people spend thousands on a degree, in this industry, you don’t. So what’s a few hundred bucks? You will get it back as you start typing.
That is affiliate marketing. You find products or a passion you love and you partner with the corresponding passion and then write about them. But again I must emphasize training. It really pays to pay for training in this industry.
And, like Network Marketing. Consistency is key here. Don’t give up and do post regularly.
Summary
Both Network Marketing and Affiliate Marketing have their pro’s and con’s. SO does everything. Don’t linger on either end of those lists.
They both are excellent ways of creating the proverbial Freedom Lifestyle. Simply find your groove, your passion and just go for it! Believe in yourself and what your passion is all about. You got this!
